A lot of E-bayers I talk to say they do not like leaving negative feedback even if the person totally deserves it.  Reason: they do not want to get any negative feedback in return.  That 100% positive feedback does mean a great deal to a lot of buyers and sellers.  But what about stating the truth?  What about warning others against the people who do things that are unjust?  I want to stand up for that, and I do.  I stand my ground and refused to be mistreated, or taken advantage of.  In return I received negative feedback.  The first negative is the one that really gets to you.  After that it's just another knick in the armour I suppose.  Are we suppose to stand still when someone trys to rip you off?  Or does something so unfair?  I said no, I wouldn't do that.

I know, for myself, that I review negative feedback that is left for potential members I may purchase things from. It's not easy to fit everything that needs to be said in such a short space.  If you ever do need to leave negative feedback, stick to the facts. Try as best as you can to state what needs to be said. It means a lot to other buyers/sellers to see what has happened in the past.  This is why we have a feedback rating system. What use is it if we don't stand up for our own rights?  Why should we let some members get away with things they shouldn't?

Remember to leave a reply to any negative feedback that you receive.  It's at the bottom of  your profile page.  Simply state the truth, stay true to yourself and stand up for what you believe.  If you ever run across someone who has had negatives left for them, review what happened. You may be seeing someone who just is not going to take BS from others.

side note: Communication is a must when dealing with others, especially here on Ebay. Always try to talk to each other and reason things out before any feedback is left.  Do not write your feedback when you are angry or hurt, you may want to wait a bit first, cool down.  Once you leave your feedback it cannot be taken back, remember this when writing what you need to say.  "Things begun in anger usually end in sham" Benjamin Franklin
