eBay is changing the the giving works format in mid September, which means you can give a little as $5.00 to the charity of your choice. This is great for store sellers looking for extra exposure. Your store listing have a Giving Works front page link to store listings featuring auction and store listing. This will mean more exposure for your store. It is one more link to get people to your eBay store.
The second change is fantastic because October 1,2006 (see announcement board) they will refund the selling and end of auction fees to you the seller not directly to the charity. That means you can recieve a free listing if you list for a charity.
Together with the lower donation amounts and in October fees to you this is an incredible way to help your favorite charity out.
Sellers tip: offer free shipping with any other non-charitable listing from your eBay store and it is like selling two items for the price of one.
Consider it but be sure to read announcement to be sure of the dates these changes take effect.
