you can call T-mobile to walk you through the steps it worked for me just fine. You first have to have the total internet plan for your phone. I believe it's an additional $19.99 to your plan, if you have just t-zones it will not work. You can take t-zones off and replace it with the total inernet. Here is what I did , if it does no work for you call T-mobile and ask for teck support and tell them you have a cell phone that is not from T-mobile. They are very much familiar with the CECT P168 they can help you. But for now try this:
goto ENTERTAINMENT menu - click on SERVICES - click on DATA ACCOUNT - click on
GPRS- stroll down to an empty account - ACCOUNT 09- click on ACCOUNT NAME- rename it to
T-MOBILE- under APN type INTERNET2.VOICESTREAM.COM- leave the USERNAME and
PASSWORD blank (do not put anything there). - under AUTH TYPE select NORMAL. then SAVE.
NEXT:
go to ENTERTAINMENT menu - click on SERVICES- click on WAP - click on SETTINGS- click
on EDIT PROFILE- select an empty profile ( LIKE PROFILE 8)- click OK- click on EDIT
PROFILE - RENAME PROFILE to TMOBILE INTERNET - HOME PAGE is HTTP:/WWW.T-
MOBILE.COM- DATA ACCOUNT is T-MOBILE- CONNECTION TYPE is HTTP- leave USERNAME and PASSWORD blank. click BACK- then ACTIVATE PROFILE
FOR PICTURE MESSAGES
goto PIM menu- click on MESSAGES- click on MMS- goto MESSAGE SETTINGS- click on
SERVER PROFILE- goto an empty profile click ok - click EDIT PROFILE- RENAME
PROFILE to T-MOBILE MMS- HOMEPAGE is http:// 216.155.174.84/SERVLETS/MMS
(all together no spaces)
DATA ACCOUNT is T-MOBILE WAP- CONNECTION TYPE is HTTP- USERNAME and
PASSWORD leave blank- click back and ACTIVATE PROFILE.
If that do not work you can also call t-mobile and they can send a file straight to your phone for the
MMS to work. other wise this should have worked just fine for you. Good Luck!
