Ever notice that advertisement for PayPal Shops when you log out of PayPal?
Along with a plug for PayPal Shops, there's a search box where you can look for merchandise in literally millions of online stores and businesses that take PayPal. I've used this feature myself many times, but never gave much thought as to how the listings get there. I assumed you'd have to pay for this advertising service. Well, you don't.
If you are a member of PayPal, you can list your eBay store there for FREE!
All you have to do is this:
- Log in to PayPal.
- Click "Profile" on the top right of the page.
- Click on "PayPal Shops" in the column on the far right.
- Fill out the form and submit it. Be sure to include a description and keywords!
- That's it!
They do a credit check, so it takes about 5 days to get listed, assuming your credit is good. But hey, it's free -- so give it a try!
I would have done this long ago, but just discovered it recently -- and today, when I test-searched for cruelty-free feathers after logging out of my PayPal account, there was my store, The Happy Rooster, right at the top of the list, along with my motto, "Cruelty-free feathers and more!" The listing also shows how many verified PayPal transactions I've had. Pretty neat freebie!
