This is simple but is overlooked by so many peple. Fisrt is spelling, if you have a 69 camaro for sale nobody is going to find your page if your headline reads "1969 camero mints cond no moter" You may be the best speller but we all make mistakes sometimes so double check your ad. "Tags" are also very important to selling your item. These are words typed in by searcher to find what their looking for and should be in your describtion line. Start with the most important then so on like "DSC-W7 7.1 CYBER SHOT SONY CAMERA LCD SCREEN" Don't be affraid to be specifc, a lot more people than you think may be typing in "DSC-W7". Also when trying to find what your looking for be specific then general. Typing in the exact model number or name will weed out a lot of stuff your not looking for. If you son't see pages and pages of DSC-W7's then type in SONY CAMERA or 7.1. Try to leave out descriptive words that may describe your item but are too general or non specific to your item, for example "MY DADS OLD FROSTY COLORED CAMERO HOT WHEELS" Nobody is going to search "my" or "dads" to find a Hot Wheels Camaro. And if that "frost color" is a special color like an old Spectra Flame he may have a jewel and not even know it plus anyone looking for a Sectra Fame Cmaro will have to sort through the 10,000 Hot Wheels to find his because he spelled Camaro wrong and didn't put the correct color. Research is important and can be fun if your bored. Do a search(if you don't already) for what your about to sell and see how many are out there. If there are a number of auctions out there you might try the "buy it now" on yours to get that person who doesn't want to wait. If there are no items out there like yours START HIGH! That sounds so bad but you can always relist for cheaper. I had a set of wheels sell on a buy-it-now within 3 hours and got an email for another member asking if I had sold them because HE wants them. I should have went with an auction on that one but because there were no other ones like them on Ebay I didn't think they were very popular but they were. It mostly boils down to focusing on what your doing when on Ebay, have a cup of coffee and relax. If there's one minute to go on that 69 Camaro read fast or don't bid at all. It's much better to lose an auction than it is to deal with not getting what you want and having to return it but you cant because the seller says you got what you wanted.
