Your talking to a guy who knows alot about having bad credit. Well I have worked hard these past couple of years to regain it.
I recommend all that ebay to always get a seperate bank account for it. Which is very simple because most employers will seperate your direct deposit up to 3 ways. See what I did was take $20 every 2 weeks and get it deposit @ 1 bank into a checking account. Then used that account to open my paypal account.
On your credit report you get credit for both that account and your Paypal account. Credit Unions are great for this function. Also I'm not sure if I even have a routing # with my Paypal Card never called and asked. If you auction or buy on ebay or anywhere here is the great part.
If you choose to click and find Paypal prefered. You get 1% back on every purchased ran on credit. Unlike other banks they only match fup to $250 a year. You have to read the fine print but with Paypal it is ongoing. All them cents to add up. Do not reply to any spam emails Paypal doesn't contact you and you can always go to your account 1st. Check in resolution center for any problems.
What I also like it is really hard to ever overdraft if you just check and keep track. Like say if you went and got gas at the pump credit. It wouldn't be taken out of your normal checking account for 3 days & not show. With Paypal on the other hand it is taken out of your balance immediately and just shows a pending charge. So you always know how much you have.
It is a great way to build not only credit but as well as getting some of your hard earn money back. Just remember to run as credit not debit. If you ship and print your own labels you get that 1% back on ever item.
Sincerely,
