Gentle Leader Easy Walk dog harness quickly brought my WILD child headstrong shar pei puppy to heel.  I had tried the great slip collars and premier collars that worked so well with all my previous strong and active dogs.  But, Xia was a new challenge.  At 7 months old, she is a bundle of solid muscle which is driven by a mind of her own.  I tried Ceaser Millan's techniques which did help control her social behavior problems, but every collar I tried fell short of working in a manner that was comfortable for both of us.  I had real concern that I could hurt her esophagus because she was so intent on going her own way.  From the moment I fastened on her new Easy Walk harness,  I have had total control of her on our daily walks.  The most I have had to use with this harness when she tries to stray on her own path is just a little gentle pressure.  It works by pulling from the front which causes her to be off balance if she tries to go in a different direction than me.  Walks are a joy for us both now.  I looked at them initially at Petsmart, but I found the exact same brand for much less on ebay!
