This guide will help you find the right Gamecube games to suit you or the children or teens you are buying the games for.
The Gamecube is an inexpensive video game console, ranging in price from $20 to $30!! The games are probably the most expensive part ranging anywhere from $5 all the way to $40 in used condition!!! This guide will help you choose wisely so you don’t get stuck with a very expensive game that you don’t enjoy or appreciate!!! Let’s get started!!!
Buying for children 10 and under- If you are buying games for kids 10 and under, you are going to have to remember that you don’t want the game to be too hard or too easy for the children to play. As you may already know, the Mario series is probably the most popular on eBay, but one of the most expensive!! The top games include: Mario Strikers, Mario Baseball, Mario Sunshine, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart: Double Dash, and the Mario Party Series! All these games are aimed at younger and older audiences alike! The have the ease a 6 or 7 year old could play and the difficulty for a teen probably up to about 15! I highly recommend the Mario Party Series!!! Another quick note, if you are going to buy Mario games for your children for Christmas, make sure you start buying in September or October. If you wait till November or December, get ready to pay up to $15 more per Mario game!!!!
Buying for kids 11 to 17- If you are looking to purchase games for Teens look for games with high difficulty. The top games I recommend are the Fire Emblem series!!! It is difficult yet extremely fun!!! Probably the best games for Gamecube for teens are the Zelda games which include: The Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventure, and The Twilight Princess!!! The Twilight Princess is probably the best out of these three and has gone down in price at an average of about $22!!! Pikmin 2 is a great game for teens and is very long so get ready for about 30 to 40 hours of gameplay, but costs up to $45!!! These games rock and are high in difficulty and fighting!!!
Buying for yourself or adults- The Gamecube has very little to offer adults, but I have found pleasure in the Mario series. They are easy to play and are great for the whole family!!! The Zelda series are also great for adults!!!!
Just remember the ESRB rating system when buying for kids!! The ratings are
EC- (Early Childhood) Ages 5 and under
E- (Everyone) Ages 6 and up
E10+ (Everyone 10 and up) Ages 10 and up
T- (Teen) Ages 13 and up
M- (Mature) Ages 17 and up
AO- (Adults Only) Ages 18 and up
