This is a Guide for gardening & introduction of some interesting plants hybrid. & also tips in adopting & nuturing plants. The fun and passion in the world of floraland is endless. I have been in gardening field for 12 years. And i like to share my techinque, skill and experience in gardeing with you. The most common method are propagation from seeds, other alternative are propagation from cuttings, bulbs, seedlings and by grafting. these are the few simple but effective technique that are well-known to all. 85% of the flora on earth are grown using these few techinques.

Iam specializing in bonsai, plumeria, orchids and adenium.

FIRST OF ALL I WOULD LIKE TO INTROduce the world of Bonsai:

There are alot of ways to start off introducing bonsai, how shall i going to start with..?

well bonsai to me is an arts, it's my inclination since young. The art of restrcting any hybrid of plants in a container for a span of many years has intrigue me to learn. though i have been with bonsai for a score of almost 12 years i dare not claims to be an expert, it's an on-going learning thingy. The most rewarding way of bonsai growing is from seeds, choose the freshest and potential seeds ; best when you collect from it's parent plant as up to 80% of genes and similarities are preserved.

The plant your see above is known as wrightia religiosa, it's unheard of and seldom available in the west.  I regard this hybrid as the master of all bonsai as this particular hybrid here blends well with all the techinque of bonsai keepings and can adopt and acclimatize to any climate , also you can shape and style to any style you like , very flexible , it's a good choice for new bonsai learner and also a leisure for the experienced.

How to attain good bonsai?

we must observe its trunk, it's buttress, it's foliage, and its firmness in the container.

trunk must be fat , buttress thick, heavy & well-groomed foliage and set firm in it's container.

how and where to get viable and fresh bonsai seeds?

healthy seeds are visibily clean to the eye, dry, hard, . it's advisable to buy from reputable seller be it online or off-line or you can seek them in the forest.

The next interesting type of plants is call plumeria, or frangipani.

A Plant with 1 of the highest genre mutation scores. there are tons of different hybrid available nowadays. It blossom with nice branches  of flowers, with scented carnation  and other fragrances. The color vibrancy is fascinating to everyone throughout the world. It has been an interesting flora which has no boundary for exploration.

there are seemingly >60 other cultivar that were yet to be named, due to its generic nature, cross-breeding & virus infection, strange phenomena, coloration, shape and sizes and fragrances do alter.

it is recommanded to propagate plumerias from cuttings as its preserved all the similarties and genes of the parent plants, seeds sowing might not attained the same color at times. This plant here behave differently from bonsai. The color are countless....

HOW TO GET RELIABLE SOURCE OF PLUMERIA?

SOURCE ARE BOUTIFUL, AND ALSO THE MOST RELIABLE SOURCE IS FROM REPUTABLE SELLERS BE IT ON-LINE OR OFF-LINE AGAIN, ALSO IT IS YOUR INTUITION & JUDEMENT.

WHAT ARE THE THINGS TO LOOK-OUT FOR WHEN BUYINH CUTTINGS OR SEEDS?

THE THING TO LOOK OUT FOR IS it'S STEM, MAKE SURE IT IS FIRM WHEN YOU PRESS ANY PART OF THE CUTTING, AS SOFTNESS INDICATE ROTTING OR INFECTION. CHECK FOR ROBUST STEM, AND SIGN OF GROWTH, IT'S TIPS SHOULD HAVE SOME SIGN OF TINY GREEN FOLIAGE. MAKE SURE THERE'S NO WOUND IN IT'S CALLOUS OR ANY IMBEDED DARK OR BROWN FUNGIS.

SEEDS SHOULD LOOK DRY, AND FIRM WHEN YOU PRESS AT ITS SHELL , AS THIS INDICATE HEALTHY EMBRYO WITHIN. COLOR OF SEEDS ARE NOT THE WAY TO TELL IT'S VIALBILTY AS DIFFERENT HYBRID HAS DIFFERENT TONE OF BROWN OR DARK WINGS. MAKE SURE THERE ISN'T ANY HOLES IN THE SEEDS.

ANY GREAT RECCOMANDATION?

REPUTABLE SELLERS ARE ABOUND , ALSO BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT SELLER WHO SELL FAKE HYBRID. GENERALLY THOSE WITH HIGH FEEDBACK SCORES ARE MOST RECOMMANDED. YOU CAN ALSO BUY THEM FROM REPUTABLE GARDENS NEAR YOUR HOUSE.
