I. WHY DISPOSABLE CAMERAS ARE IMPORTANT AT WEDDINGS

You are planning for the most important day of your life -- your wedding day! As bride, you will be faced with making myriad choices: you must select your wedding gown, house of worship and / or catering hall, bridal theme colors for coordinating bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen attire, as well as selecting food menu choices, floral bouquets, table linen colors, centerpieces, professional photographer, as well as music provided at the reception either by a band or d.j. You may feel overwhelmed by all of these decisions that you will have to make. Don't worry, because once you have your wedding date nailed down (i.e. you have reserved your church or synagogue or mosque, plus you have a deposit at the caterers reserving the date you picked), everything else will fall into place. You simply need to sit down and carefully plan out all the details for the ceremony and for the reception that you want, based on your budget for your wedding.

An important part of this very special event in your life will be the photos that you receive from this event. Your memories will be captured by photos taken at this event. At your reception, you should have disposable wedding cameras available at every table for your guests to assist in photographing this event. You will be pleasantly surprised at the candid shots taken at your event that even the official professional photographer may miss. (You certainly don't want to miss any of these special moments that your loved ones will succeed in capturing on film!) Disposable wedding cameras must be durable to hold up to being handled by many guests. II. TYPES OF CAMERAS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE MARKETPLACE

When deciding what color or design your cameras should have, you may want to choose a color that universally complements your theme, such as Cherry Blossoms on your camera, which will stand out against a white tablecloth. Or you may wish to choose a design that complements your overall wedding theme, for example a TROPICAL BEACH HEARTS WEDDING camera if your theme is tropical. If blue or violet is your color theme, you might wish to choose a BLUE BUTTERFLY WEDDING camera or PURPLE ORCHID WEDDING camera. There are many wedding cameras to choose from, EVEN cameras that you never even dreamed existed........ such as special MESSAGE cameras just for your BRIDAL SHOWER, just for your BACHELORETTE PARTY, just for your BACHELOR PARTY, and even HONEYMOON Message cameras and UNDERWATER cameras for your HONEYMOON.

To select the right disposable camera for your reception, you should look for regular FLASH cameras. Flash cameras are needed for these inside shots during indoor receptions. You need to have sufficient light to capture these shots, which, of course, will be effectively provided by the flash. Flash cameras are also needed for outdoor shots on a cloudy or overcast day. When indoors, the best shots are taken from 4 feet to 9 feet away from subjects, and the flash must be used (unless the shot is outdoors on a bright, sunny day). You can (and should) assign the members of your bridal party to go around to reception tables to instruct your guests to use these cameras and how to use these cameras. (Your bridesmaids and groomsmen will not mind -- each one being assigned to go to one specific guest table to inform and enlighten your guests about these special cameras on the table).

You will want to have two types of cameras on hand: those with color film and those with black & white film. Ideally, you will want to provide each reception table with one color film camera and one black & white camera. Color film will capture the memories of this wedding reception in four colors. Black and white film will preserve the event for virtually 100 years. (You've seen old black-and-white photos from over a hundred years ago. Wouldn't it be amazing to preserve these black-&-white photos from your wedding for future generations, as a family heirloom for future grandchildren and great-grandchildren!)

A table tent standing next to the disposable color film camera and one tent standing next to the black and white camera should be provided. These table tents will reinforce the verbal instructions given to guests by bridesmaids and / or groomsmen. The table tents serve to ensure that guests understand that these special cameras are for the bride and groom, for special candid shots of the reception, and NOT as take-home "gifts or favors" for guests. Table tents serve to remind the guests to use these special cameras to take memorable photos and to leave the cameras on the table at the end of the reception. When shopping for cameras, you will find that some sellers will provide you with ULTRA-GLOSSY, giant perfectly matching table tents, that match your cameras exactly. When the table tents match exactly, and the table tents are large enough not to get lost on the table, it helps reinforce that your cameras are for your guests to use and then leave on the table. There may be other disposable cameras on the table that guests have brought for their own use, so this helps distinguish YOUR cameras from their own cameras, so there is no confusion. For example, if you have BLUE BUTTERFLY WEDDING cameras on your table with BLUE BUTTERFLY matching table tents, this will mean your cameras will stand out from the other generic looking cameras others have brought for their own use.

If you will be needing table tents in Spanish, don't be afraid to ask your seller if they have SPANISH TABLE TENTS. You may be surprised to find out their answer is YES, if you have picked the right seller.

In addition to the color film disposable flash cameras and black-&-white disposable film cameras are message cameras. Message cameras are pre-loaded with film containing special captions or messages on the bottom of every photo. (In other words, the film has been pre-exposed with "messages" or set captions along the bottom of every photo). For this reason, you will find that message cameras often cost about $5 or so more per camera, due to the extra work in manufacturing these very unique cameras, with the pre-exposed negatives. When you take each picture, you are adding the photo scene to the "message" (caption) that is on the bottom frame of each photo. The actual text of each message is provided on the back of the camera body for specific numbered photos. Message cameras generally contain 8 different messages, in colorful and fancy fonts, which then repeat in sequence, delivering 24 exposures containing 8 different messages, each message repeating sequentially 3 times. For example, a Wedding day message camera contains messages such as "A Day To Remember" and "A Celebration of Love" and "Wedding Bells." A Honeymoon message camera contains messages such as "A Honeymoon To Remember" and "Just Married" and "Magical Moments." A Bridal Shower message camera contains messages such as "Something Old, Something New..." and "Love & Marriage" and "Showering Gifts." A Love message camera contains messages such as "I Love You" and "Together Forever" and "Cupid Has Struck" etc. For a fun event such as a bachelorette party, a Bachelorette message camera contains messages such as "You Go Girl!" and "Last Night of Freedom" and "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" etc. A Bachelor message camera contains messages such as "It's A Guy Thing" and "Goodbye Freedom" and "Men Rule" etc.

When shopping for cameras, don't forget WATERPROOF underwater cameras.......... regular disposable cameras, no matter how pretty they are on the outside, were not meant to be submerged underwater.

One last type of camera that you may wish to consider is a PERSONALIZED camera, one that can be personalized with both YOUR PHOTO and YOUR NAME and WEDDING DATE on the outside of the camera. This type of camera is not for those ordering cameras very close to their wedding date, as it can take 45 days for this type of camera to be custom made. What happens with these cameras is your photo and text get put onto the scene that you choose. Some sellers offer as many as 18 different scenes to choose from. With this type of camera, it is VERY important that you have great communication with your seller. They will ask you to email them a photo and your text and if you have picked the right seller, they will even email you back a proof of what your final camera will look like, for your approval.

III. HOW TO SELECT THE PERFECT SELLER FOR YOUR CAMERAS

Important after picking out what you want for your event, the designs and kinds of cameras you want for your special event whether color, black-&-white, or message cameras, you will need to pick the right seller to deliver your cameras to you in time for your special day. You will need to check the seller's feedback to see whether the seller is reliable, honest, dependable through thick and thin to deliver these cameras to you on time. You need a seller who will provide you with a tracking number so that you can track shipment of your cameras online. You should also look for a seller who responds quickly to your pre-sale emails..... if they don't respond at all or take days, when they are trying to get your business, can you imagine what will happen after they already have your money? This is very important. A very communicative seller will make your camera selection easier and your entire ordering process seamless. If you ask the seller for their phone number and they will not give it to you or ignore your request, walk away. If they fail to answer all your questions prior to purchase, walk away.

When you see an ebay seller with a FEEDBACK score of 10,000 or above, that is a SHOOTING star seller. A shooting star on ebay is a seller who has earned a feedback score with at least 10,000 unique buyers saying something nice about them. If you have any idea how hard it is to get to 10,000, think about your own feedback score. Let's say you have a feedback score of 50, which is wonderful, imagine doing all those transactions TWO HUNDRED times over. It is exhausting even to think about.

You may also wish to look for a seller with a HUGE selection of cameras. The more cameras they have, the more interested they are in pleasing YOU, the bride. Every camera model the seller has represents a huge investment on their part. Each camera is very expensive to design and bring to market. You may not always be able to find a seller that actually designs their own cameras, but when you do find one, that is a real keeper. Some sellers are just re-selling someone else's product and there is nothing wrong with that, but when the seller is also involved in designing cameras, you can rest assured that they are heavily involved in the quality control as the cameras are being manufactured and at all stages of the process. The most experienced camera sellers design their own cameras.

You may also wish to choose a seller who can handle ALL your different cameras, your wedding cameras, your BLACK & WHITE FILM cameras, your BRIDAL SHOWER cameras, your BACHELORETTE MESSAGE cameras, your BACHELOR MESSAGE cameras, your WEDDING DAY MESSAGE cameras, your HONEYMOON MESSAGE cameras and your UNDERWATER cameras. By getting all your cameras from one place, it will make your life a lot easier. Finding a single seller who sells all these cameras and combines shipping and handling is really a lot easier than you think.

Where the seller is actually located, is not really important any longer, no matter how fast you need the cameras. A seller who is hooked into all the expedited and overnite delivery services that are out there, will not even have trouble getting your cameras to you the SAME or NEXT day. Even in other countries, most locations are no further away than 48 hours from the seller to your location.

Also very important, is when will the seller ship. It is more than just how long it will be traveling to you....... if the seller takes 10 days to ship to you, then ships with a 2 day service, it is going to take 12 days to get to you. If you are lucky enough to find a seller that promises they will ship tomorrow if you pay today, that seller is a keeper! Look at a seller's feedback to see if they ship fast. Other buyers will tell you.

The final consideration is how carefully the seller packs your order. You don't just want them dropped loose into a box, so that they rattle around like worthless rocks. Remember, your cameras' worth is not just the few dollars each that you paid for them, but their potential to capture priceless memories of your wedding. The seller should carefully pack them so they arrive intact. Look at a seller's feedback and look for comments about how they packed the order.
