Gorgeous, authentic, hand made Native American collectibles     are full of the romance of the Old West

The Native American Indians of the Southwest learned the art of silversmithing as early as the 1850s.  It was natural to use this new skill to continue creating sterling silver jewelry with the Turquoise, bone, seeds, and natural shell that had been worn by native peoples for thousands of years.  The weaving of rugs was a traditional, ancient art, as was the making of hand coiled and manure-fired    pottery    .  The traditional styles of Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, Santo Domingo, Acoma, Laguna and others, are unique and carry on the spirit and symbolism of "the Ancestors" (Anasazi).  As the nation moved west with the railroad, pottery, rugs, Kachinas       , sand paintings, fetishes          , drums, dolls           , paintings, bracelets, squash blossom necklaces, rings, bolos, concho belts, buckles, brooches and strands of turquoise, carved bone, seeds & Coral were made and sold by Indian families across New Mexico and Arizona.  Some were traded or pawned for needed supplies, some were sold in tourist spots, along the roadside, at rodeos and at train stops along the railroads.

Vintage and Collectible Native American Indian pieces are limited to those made in years past.

Many Native American artists who create beautiful, traditional fetishes, rugs, paintings          ,  sand paintings, and jewelry today learned from the craftsmen who worked in the trading posts of Albuquerque, Gallup, Santa Fe, & Taos.  Toady on ebay you can still find authentic vintage pieces that were the inspiration for contemporary Native Americana.

You can take advantage of authentic, unique, collectible Native Americana sales.

Artists, silversmiths, traders and collectors from across the southwest and around the world offer their Collectible Native Americana at great prices with great value every day, right here on Ebay!
