When looking to replace your Dental Unit Foot Controller, there are things you need to consider:
1) Does the foot controller have toggle switches for coolant water on/off to handpieces and/or push button switches for control of signal air for chip air to handpieces or activation of cavitron (separate ultrasonic unit versus sonic scaler attached to handpiece tubing).
2) Is the foot controller just a basic foot controller without a internal signal air relay ( most Adec Systems had a internal signal relay system
3) Does your foot control tubing have 2,3,4 or 5 holed tubing,,each tubing has a specific purpose for it,, be sure to specify how many hole tubing you have to seller when ordering
4) Most replacement foot controllers come with the foot control tubing, normally a 7' length and either in a light sand or grey color tubing
5) The wet/dry disc type foot controller is the most popular and most commonly used one for most dental units, don't be fooled by inexpensive/economical spin offs,,,they just don't last and the quality has alot to be desired,,don't jump over dollars to save pennies.
6) With 40 years of dental repair experience,,any replacement foot control by DCI is of the highest quality and will perform well into the future and you will get the quality you want,,,and it,s Made In The U.S.A.
