HERE WE GO!  YOU ARE GETTING THE PICTURE NOW, AREN'T YOU?  THIS IS A LOT OF WORK.  THERE ARE FEES THAT NEED TO BE CONTROLLED.  MORE TRAFFIC WOULD BE NICE.  YOU HAVE HEARD COMPLAINTS IN THE BLOGS FROM BUYERS AND SELLERS BY NOW.  SO LETS ADDRESS SOME OF THOSE NOW:

1.  YOUR ITEM TITLE - THIS CAN HELP YOU INCREASE TRAFFIC FREE.  LEAVE OUT WORDS LIKE - BEAUTIFUL OR NICE.  USE WORDS THAT PEOPLE WOULD USE TO LOOK FOR YOUR ITEM SO THEIR SEARCHES TAKE THEM TO WHAT YOU ARE SELLING.  FOR INSTANCE; PRETTY SET OF EARRINGS.  ONLY THE WORD EARRINGS WILL MATCH A SEARCH.  BETTER IS TO PUT:  STERLING SILVER DANGLE EARRINGS.  THIS GIVES YOU FOUR WORDS A PERSON LOOKING FOR THIS ITEM MIGHT USE.  THUS INCREASING YOUR CHANCES OF THE SEARCH DIRECTING THEY BUYER TO YOU.  GO OVER YOUR CURRENT LISTINGS AND MAKE ANY NECESSARY REVISIONS NOW.

2.  NOW I WANT YOU TO TAKE ANOTHER STEP TO INCREASE TRAFFIC TO YOUR ITEMS.  GO TO EBAY TO GO.  FOLLOW THEIR DIRECTIONS FOR A NICE WAY TO PUT SOME OF YOUR SALE ITEMS IN YOUR BLOG.  IF YOU NEED HELP, E-MAIL ME.  MY E-MAIL IS MY COMPANY NAME @VERIZON.NET.  YOU WILL NEED TO OPEN YOUR BLOG, THEN IN ANOTHER WINDOW OPEN EBAY TO GO.  FOLLOW THEIR CHOICES FOR WHAT YOU WANT TO SHOW IN YOUR BLOG.  PASTE THEIR HOTMAIL CODE INTO YOUR BLOG.  CLICK PREVIEW, THEN POST.  DO THIS ONCE A DAY WITH DIFFERENT ITEMS.  ASK OTHERS TO SHARE THEIR ITEMS AS WELL.  AGAIN, THIS IS FREE TRAFFIC FOR YOU.

3.  BUY.  PLAIN AND SIMPLE, BUY.  IT WILL INCREASE YOUR FEEDBACK SCORE QUICKER, AND YOU WILL BE KNOWN MORE TO OTHERS.  BUY WHAT YOU CAN REALLY USE.  MAYBE PACKAGING MATERIALS, CLOTHING FOR A CHILD OR YOURSELF, A GIFT, ANYTHING.  IT IS AN EXTRA BOOST TO BUY FROM THOSE YOU BLOG WITH IF POSSIBLE, AND IT CREATES A BUY & SELL ATMOSPHERE WITH OTHERS YOU MAY HAVE LEARNED YOU LIKE TO DEAL WITH ALREADY.  THEY ARE ALSO MOST LIKELY TO LEAVE THE FEEDBACK.

4.  YOUR GOAL WITH LISTING NOW IS TO MAINTAIN A 20-40 ITEM LISTING AT ALL TIMES.

5.  FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT.  OFTENTIMES PEOPLE FEEL IT IS UNFAIR, ME INCLUDED.  SELLERS AND BUYERS CAN BE DUPED, HASSELED, AND TREATED UNFAIRLY ALL IN THE NAME OF FEEDBACK.  CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN, FORGET WHAT YOU CAN'T.  I WOULD SUGGEST YOU GO INTO YOUR PROFILE, AND BLOCK BUYERS WITH A NEGATIVE FB SCORE, OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD MAKE THEM A BUYER YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH,  IF ANYONE CAUSES YOU ANY PROBLEMS OR MISTREATS YOU, REPORT IT TO EBAY.  AND BLOCK THE USER!  DON'T GIVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE TO HARRASS YOU.

6.  CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD ON EBAY WEEKLY OR MONTHLY.  PEOPLE DO HACK INTO ACCOUNTS.  KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THIS.  ALSO, ANYTHING SENT TO YOU IN AN E-MAIL SUPPOSEDLY FROM E-BAY DO NOT OPEN.  ONLY OPEN THAT WHICH IS SENT THROUGH THE EBAY ACCOUNT.  THEIR WILL BE PLENTY OF PEOPLE WHO TRY TO SCAM YOU OUTSIDE OF E-BAY.  ONCE YOU REACH POWERSELLER AND YOUR FB GOES UP, THESE SEEM TO ALL BUT DISSAPEAR.  I BELIEVE THEY TARGET THE NEWER PEOPLE.

7.  IF YOU RECEIVE A COMPLAINT FROM A BUYER, THINK FIRST, ACT SECOND.  DO NOT GET MAD.  (AS I HAVE DONE)  SEE IF THERE IS A REASONABLE SOLUTION TO WHATEVER THEY WANT.  DO NOT LET ANYONE SCAM YOU INTO PAYING THEM MONEY FOR ITEMS YOU SENT.  DO NOT LET ANYONE THREATEN YOU NO MATTER WHAT.  (EITHER WITH A NEGATIVE FB OR COMMENTS)  ASK FOR ADVISE IF YOU NEED IT BEFORE YOU RESPOND.  EITHER IN THE BLOGS, THROUGH E-BAY, OR YOU MAY E-MAIL ME.

8.  ALWAYS BE SURE TO LEAVE APPROPRIATE FEEDBACK FOR OTHERS IN A TIMELY MANNER.  BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS ABOUT LEAVING A NEUTRAL OR NEGATIVE.  SOMETIMES IT IS BETTER TO LEAVE NONE.  BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT COMMENTS YOU LEAVE.  TREAT EVERYONE ELSE BETTER THAN YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.

9.  IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT LEAVING COMMENTS FOR FB, READ OTHERS AND THIS WILL MAKE YOU MORE COMFORTABLE.  CLICK ON ANYONES NUMBER BY THEIR NAME AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE WHAT OTHERS WRITE. 

10.  KEEP UP YOUR LISTINGS. 

11.  START TO LOOK AT OTHERS STORES AND THINK ABOUT WHETHER THIS IS SOMETHING FOR YOU.  THE BEGINNERS STORE IS $14.95 A MONTH.  THEY HAVE FREE GRAPHICS TO GET YOU STARTED.  IF YOU ARE THINKING THIS IS SOMETHING FOR YOU, THEN NATURALLY START TO THINK OF WHAT YOU WANT TO LIST.  DO YOU HAVE OVER 50 ITEMS TO PUT INTO A STORE WHILE LISTING IN AUCTION?  DO YOU WANT TO USE A DROPSHIPPER?  DO YOU WANT TO SELL FROM ITEMS YOU BUY WHOLESALE OR AT OTHER PLACES LIKE GARAGE SALES, ETC.?  HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU HAVE TO GET GOING?  HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU HAVE TO INVEST IN ITEMS TO STOCK IN THE STORE?  START TO LOOK AT THESE QUESTIONS NOW.

12.  READ UP ON INFORMATION REGARDING WHAT A DROPSHIPPER IS.  THIS IS A GOOD WAY TO START WITHOUT STOCKING INVENTORY, BUT YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE A REPUTABLE DROPSHIPPER OR THEY CAN RUIN YOUR GOOD NAME.  YOU ALSO WILL MOST LIEKLY BE CHARGED A FEE (YEARLY) FOR THEIR SERVICES.
