Hello Folks. I would like to address the world of low quality automotive headlights flooding the ebay markets. Gt-Racers recent sold me a set of lights for my vehicle. IF you read teh fine print you have 3 days to contact them with a problem. Well I had a problem. These lights have a small row of LEDs in them . I didnt have teh vehicle in the shop that they were goign to be installed on so for so i threw them on the test bench. Sure enought some of the LEDs did not work . I emailed them on the day after i receved the lights ( a saturday) i then emailed them on Monday morning just to make sure they got the info. No reply. I finally went to ebay for Contact information to call them. They have multi ebay screen names for the same phone number. I finally talked to a human. They wanted me to repack the lights and when UPS came Tell them i refuse the shipment as its not mine. I stated i cannot do that the package has been opened and thats not UPS problem that you send a defective light. They then wanted me to pay for shipping back to them. Not my problem its defective out of teh box.so finally after 3 more days then faxed me a UPS label. I shipped the defect back adn waited about a week and a half for the replacement. I get these lights installed finally after almost 3 weeks. The fit was fare at best. I left them on for about 1/2 hour to break them in and check functions. After 1/2 hour of useage the other light had LEDs going out. I emailed them back 4 days later i get a note back Send it back they have to check it and ssend out a replacement. I informed them that i cannot take this vehicle out of service while i wait for a replacement. If they could ship a replacement as they already knoow i received one defect. They stated No it is nto there policy to send one unless they have a chance to "inspect" the defect. I emailed them again to speak to someone higher up and to this date NO LIGHT, NO ANSWER, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Learn from my mistake. Use another vendor.
UPDATE 1/16/2008. I left a Neutral feedback due to the above problems. Still has not responded to my email on monday the 14th. I get a letter from ebay asking for a mutual removale of feedbacks. This Ebayer is soo bad they left me a Neutral feedback because i left one from them. I paid the same day, did all the communications includeing long distance phone calls to contact them . I get a Neutral feedback FOLKS Stay away from GT-Racer. The product is not worth the problems and fitment problems
Update 1/18/2008 Notified by Ebay GTracer filed to have mutual feedback removed. Im not changing it. Seller just dosent GIT IT. BTW 14 emails sent to Seller 4 replied back to (form letter response.
Update 1/22/2008 And the saga continues. I finally reached the end of my sanity. I informed them if i had to send the unit back and wait for then to ship it back ( 2 weeks last time) i would ship both back and ask for a refund. The reply i got back " It has been over 30 days since delivered and NO REFUNDS. I have been jerked around for a month tring to get it replaced and they pull that.. I hope someone reads this and choosed another vendor. Please learn from my mistake.
