THIS IS A WONDERFUL WAY OF SELLING. I have been selling my acrylic florals on the beach in the Santa Barbara, California Art Show for many years but this is quite a different experience. I do have an art website. But now I also have an ebay store, charlene2702.
What could be more exciting than to read that you have many lookers and then the real thrill of selling an item. I love getting those "congratulation" e-mails. Whether it be my first editions or other vintage books like Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, Evangeline by Longfellow, Louisa May Alcott's Rose in Bloom, Crime and Punishment (nicely translated), Michael O'Halloran by Gene Stratton-Porter, Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan and the Golden Lion or one of my art instructional books, it is all very exciting. Where else do you get this kind of an audience?
Some articles I have enjoyed long enough and will let others now do the same like my Royal Doulton Toby Jugs; Beefeaters, The Falconer, The Sleuth, Gone Away (a hunter with a fox), Old Salt and Long John Silver. I love these character jugs as I know many do. . I have all four muskateer tobies (large) but cannot part with them as it took too long to get all four. I will soon be releasing some of my Lladro.
A special item I plan to auction soon is a cup and saucer by Royal Doulton that I "stole" off the Concorde. Actually I asked the flight attendant if I could have it. No paper products on those flights!
Anyway, I just wanted to say that anyone who thinks they want to get into this fun game, should do so as I am having a ball. Good luck. If you have questions, please email me.
