AUTOGRAPH COLLECTING CAN BE ADDICTIVE PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
My mom has been collecting autographs for over 17 years and here are a few tips she was willing to share. If you go to our about me page you can read more detail on that.
Celebrities and Sprots Icons are more likely to sign for a child than an adult. So barrow a neighbor, nephew, niece or someone to spend the day with.
Find out when the players practice. The RED WINGS used to practice in the morning. Usually you will see other autograph seekers outside waiting for the players. You will have to be waiting for a while possibly many hours bring a chair and snacks. Talk to the other autograph seekers see what tips they offer.
It is nearly impossible to get an autograph at a game because there are so many other people there seeking autographs.
If you can go to an away game, it would cost a little bit of coin but usually there are not many people seeking autogaphs from the opponents team. Maybe plan a small trip around it.
My mom got JAROMIR JAGR AUTOGRAPH when he was at Joe Lewis Arena.
My mom has also gone to autograph shows. Where the actual celebrity is there in person signing autographs. They do charge a fee and you could litterally be waiting there all day for an autograph. She got SCOTTY BOWMAN's autograph at a promotional expo held by Rite Aide. The autographs were free that day but, she was there all day.
I hope this guide will help you decide if you want to pursue getting the autographs yourself in person or just buying it out right from our store.
1 MORE AUTOGRAPH
A BIG NO NO
Do not ask the player there name. They may not sign and you will have missed a huge opportunity to get there autograph.
