1. AS A SELLER, NEVER leave feedback first.
2. RETAIN CORRESPONDENCE.
3. BLOCK BUYER/PROSPECT FROM BIDDING AT EARLIEST SIGN OF FLAKINESS.
4. DON'T SPEND A LOT OF TIME ANSWERING PROSPECT QUESTIONS..FOR LOW DOLLAR ITEMS, unless you want to.
5. CHARGE FOR CUSTOMIZATION..MY GUESS IS THEY WON'T PAY FOR IT.
6. For the non-payers. Be polite, offer to negate the sale if small dollar amount and you can resell.
7. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR TIME.

Selling can be a joy. Interchanging information with most customers is a true pleasure.

Ebay is a very difficult marketplace. 

• Some customers buy the wrong item or may want but not pay for, the higher end. 
• Some customers  are unwilling to pay fair price for product and your time.
• Some customers  leave negative feedback if your item doesn't meet their expectations..[without contacting you first]
• Some customers  leave negative feedback if your item doesn't ship fast..[yet they pay cash or check in the mail..and do not allow time for receipt or they pick media mail shipment].

We offer a variety of products and prices. We bend over backward to make things right. We appreciate when customers let me know if things aren't right AND allow me to fix. If an item is lost (no insurance) I replace it free.

Yeah sure there are nightmare sellers (like the above) that don't belong on Ebay. Sellers like the above give us all a bad name. Buyers like the above make Ebay selling just plain miserable.

I bend over backward if I make a mistake and the customer is cooperative. Ebay should be fun and hassle free. I have offered full instant Paypal refund and the customer keep the product... all I asked is good feedback and cooperation with getting my seller fees back..the buyer is "whole"..

and can you believe  I have had a couple of buyers UNWILLING to do that.

I enjoy most of my customers. 

Thank goodness the buyer quoted for fun I have NOT had the pleasure of dealing with...
