What it is- A Front Projection TV is a 2 piece system: the projector and the screen. There are many types of projectors: DLP, LCD, SXRD and more.

Benefits:
   1. They can have the lowest cost per inch of screen size when compared to most other televisions.
   2. A larger screen gives the most theatrical presentation and it allows for more seating.
   3. You can have a high resolution image on a big screeen with a viewing size up to 150"
   4. When not in use a retractable screen can disappear into the ceiling until needed.
   5. they take up minimal space - along with the retractable screens, the projector can be mounted from the ceiling.
   6. Projectors can display cable TV, satellite, HDTV, Xbox, and Playstation, not just movies.

Limitations:

   1. They need a darkened room to work well.
   2. they have a lamp life of 2000-3000 hours, if you watch it 4 hours a day the lamp will last about 1.5 years. If you watch a lot of TV make sure you have a spare bulb Handy.
   3. They don't have built-in speakers so you'll need a surround sound system to complete your home theater.
