Freezing Your Top Tier for Your First Anniversary
Your top tier can taste almost as good as the day of your wedding if you freeze it properly.
The Cake must have been a fresh cake. If the cake had been previously frozen by the baker it will not taste good if you refreeze it. Please ask your cake designer!
1st: Flash freeze your cake by putting in the freezer for 20 minutes.(set in the freezer without any covering on it)
2nd: Wrap the cake in clear plastic wrap making sure to seal the cake with the plastic wrap.
3rd: Put the cake back in the box tape the box shut completely with freezer tape.
4th: Wrap the box completely with clear plastic wrap making sure to seal the box with the plastic wrap.
5th: Now wrap the box completely with Aluminum foil.
If this is done your cake should taste almost as good as the day of your wedding.
