We sellers are always looking for items to make a buck on. Sometimes we find items here on Ebay, sometimes on other sites. Recently I purchased some items from a seller on Amazon.com. who also, as I discovered later, has a store here on Ebay. The deal was made off site, a price agreed upon, I payed for the items in full, only to be notified after payment was made, that only a part of the order was in hand, the rest of the order was on backorder. All Right, I have been in retail, and I know that sometimes backorders are inevitable. I payed using PayPal, but I didn't use the debit account, I used the PayPal Plus credit card. After not receiving the balance of my order for a week or so, I emailed the seller, asking him where the rest of my merchandise was. 1 day before the 45 day limit for filing PayPal debit account disputes, the seller emails me stating that he was out of town, and would send me the tracking number as soon as he got back in the morning. The 45 day limit kicked in, and my seller is in the wind, and , so far hasn't' returned my emails or phone calls! My point is this; Had I used the PayPal debit account, I would be S-O-L, but I used the PayPal Plus credit card, and the 45 day limit is not an issue, and as soon as PayPal gets the paperwork from PayPal Plus credit, will investigate the complaint, and I get my money in about 60 days. Keep all your packing slips, email correspondence, ect. even after a deal is fully completed. This makes it easy to show the credit card company and IC3, if a fraud was committed. the FBI's IC3 likes it when you have all your ducks in a row! Always pay by credit card, that way if your seller tries to cheat you, you have options. Any questions, just email me. This Fraudster is still trading on EBay, If you want more info, just email me.
