Just because a pottery piece appears to be insignificant doesn't neccessarily mean it is,you may want to take another look as it may have not only monetary value, but sentimental value to someone who may be searching for it on ebay. Paul does remodeling and recently came across a pottery piece in a basement that the owner told him he could have, looked like an old piece of pottery,plain,brown,etc...but upon close inspection there was a silhouette of a little man,we think this may have been the maker's mark, all we know is the collector called it a Southern Pottery,Albany. When you list a piece of pottery or glassware,etc..that you may not know the maker's name,etc.. put in your title or subtitle, any info.would be appreciated,etc.. and you'll be surprised how many ebayers will help you out. This is the 1st review we have ever written, please bare with us as our 2nd review will be much better and alot more informative and please vote for us if this was helpful to you.
