I went to replace my CD player in my F350.  I found a friendly piece of advice I thought I would pass on to everyone.

DO NOT purchase 6 Disc CD changers off the internet, unless you can pick them up.  The components inside these little machines are vey delicate and will break in shipping.  A friend of mine that owns a auto recycle yard told me that 99% of these 6 Disc changers that they have ordered in were broken in transit.  The ones they ordered were all working when they were shipped.  He knows this due to the people he buys from..  He also said this was for years 99 and up, but could be for other years also.

So unless you can pick it up in person, DO NOT buy the Ford 6 Disc changers and have them shipped to you.
