To go to the authentic Brighton website, and view all of their products, you can simply go to  (I didn't realize you can't insert a link in a guide!) well, it's you know what at Brighton, and then it's just the dot com. You can do a search for any one of their products. You can look them up by their individual collection name, etc. It would be worth taking a few minutes to check and see if you are bidding on an authentic piece.  I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with somebody selling designer knock-offs. I've seen a lot of those pieces for sale that I would glad spend around $10 on. Any of the knock-off purses, if you run across them in a boutique store (not on ebay) only retail in the $20's....so, that should give you some idea of the quality of those purses.

The problem that I have, is when there are so many sellers that are passing these pieces off as genuine Brighton. HUGE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY!!

As far as the purses go...the ones that should raise a flag are the NWOT (new without tags). You could ask the seller to provide you with a photo of the Brighton Creed, inside of the purse. They don't make any without it. There are some really cute 'fakes' out there, but, they're not worth anything over $30, brand new.

So, familiarize yourself with anything, that you intend on investing your money in. You're better off paying $50 for an authentic Brighton necklace, because, you can wear it for years, and, when you're finally tired of it (if that day ever comes) it's still worth something. And, the same goes ESPECIALLY for the purses. Authentic Brighton purses are only made with the highest quality materials, and workmanship.

And, a note on the jewelry..all Brighton jewelry is heavily coated in silver. They are not solid sterling, but are heavily coated with sterling. The knock-offs are just some 'rhodium' stuff (or, something similar) that ends up tarnishing within a few months, if worn regularly. That does not happen to the genuine Brighton.
