Look carefully at any offering by Florida Muscle & Speed before you bid on his auction.

Seller grossly misrepresented vehicle. The vehicle I received from Florida Muscle and Speed, has lots of rust, floors are rotted out, the rear window sill is rotted out. Seller claimed only surface rust on undercarriage. Seller claimed matching numbers, they do not. Seller claimed he drove this vehicle, would like to know how, the brakes do not work! There is a problem with the entire system from power booster (junk) to the wheel cylinders. The main seals on the engine leak oil. Parts are missing from the interior, these areas were not photographed or described. The interior was stated to be NEW, all the interior is original with the exception of the front seats, none is leather as claimed. The engine runs rough. There are helper springs on the rear axle, original rear springs are severely rusted. The rear shocks are not working at all. The entire front end needs to be rebuilt, ball joints are shot, uppers and lowers. The body has lots and lots of body putty on it. The passengers door panel has to be replaced due to the hidden damage that could not be repaired. The rear quarter had as much as ½ inch bondo in spots, and it looks like an amateur did the work. Even the sails of the roof have body putty. The front fenders had been removed from the car replaced and are missing related parts. In all there are over 30 items listed as problems. The rear bumper is damaged to the point it will need to be replaced. The radio is missing, not revealed in photos. The console is broken away from the dashboard, it was actually just sitting on the floor when the car arrived. This car can not be driven until more money is spent to get where the seller stated it to be. The value of this car is no where near the price paid, it’s true value is about $1,000.00, so be careful of any value Mr Dahn places on his vehicles.

Florida Muscle and Speed rating system leaves a lot to interpretation. A potential buyer needs to pay very close attention to the pictures posted and of any description of vehicles by this seller. More importantly look for what is not shown or described. His description of surface rust might turn out to be a rotted out floor or rear window. Unless he shows pictures of the area he describes be very wary of his descriptions.

The potential buyers needs to ask a lot of questions via the ask-seller system, especially if they are not able to personally inspect a vehicle and should INSIST that Florida Muscle and Speed COMPLETE the DEAL on E-BAY, it is an ebay violation to complete the deal outside of ebay.

Also keep copies of any communication with this seller, especially the ebay listing showing the number of bidders and bids during the auction.

This is part of his introduction. " We have been selling Classic and Muscle cars on eBay for many years and have built a reputation of honesty and trust with our customers that is second to none. We have an excellent feedback rating on ebay and are here to stay............ We have over 500 Transactions on eBay and a feedback rating over 99% Positive. Also, we are an eBay Power Seller. This means we sell tens of thousands of dollars worth of cars on eBay every month.

He has only been selling since October of 2004 , to me, that is not "many years". .....Where is his proof that he has sold "tens of thousands of dollars worth of cars on eBay every month." It does not reflect in his feedback ratings. His high ratings are primarily for buying.

READ HIS FEEDBACK CAREFULLY! Most of his feedback is related to items he buys. NOT to what he sells, there is little feedback from buyers of his vehicles. Look at the RATIO of feedback on items he sells to the items he buys. Ebay motor sellers rely on the feedback system to show potential buyers who and how they will be treated when dealing with online auctions/sellers. This seller has little feedback from buyers of his vehicles. Be cautious of this!

Be very cautious of Florida Muscle and Speed auctions,........ research before you bid!

Be cautious of bidding patterns with any auction.

Please contact me with questions and for a link to a website that contains more info on this seller.

Any mis-dealings with this seller should be reported to E-bay, the Florida Attorney General, the Florida Department of Highway and Motor Vehicle Safety authority which oversee Florida dealer licenses, go to <myflorida.com> for links. You should also contact other agencies such as IC3.com and the FBI, State and local police authorities dealing with computer crime in your area as well as Titusville Florida, the US Postal Authorities. Almost all can be done on line.
