If you have ever purchased a nyon leash or lead such as the ones I sell you know that the leash will fray after a few uses. This is normal especially for the fine show leads as they are very soft.

I will tell you how to fix those pesky little frizzies and fray's without damaging the leash, but you must do exactly as I say in this guide.

First thing you need is a lighter, a regular butane lighter will do. Since nylon melts this is how you get rid of the frizzies on your leash.

Very quickly run the flame of the lighter over the frizzy or fray and it will disappear. You are melting the nylon frizzy. This will in no way hurt the leash unless you hold the flame for an extended period of time.

It only takes seconds so you must be quick. The faster you run the flame the less likely you will damage the leash and create a burn stain.

Remember, be fast with the flame and never hold it on the leash. With this method your nylon leash will last a very long time.

Enjoy,

Lee :-)
