The Caption shouild read, "Nobody's Perfect". And in fact, nobody is. This is why in the ceramic industry, we have repair technics. Almost everyone I know has had to deal with pits, scratches and scrapes in thier bisque that they did not see in greenware form.
To fix these, I take some wet trimmings and roll in my hand to the diameter of about a pencil thickness. I like to trim these around 5 to 6 inches but you can make them any size you like. Fire these at cone 018. When you find your bisque flaw, simply rub this pencil over the area with a little water, let dry and glaze as you would normally. It has worked well for me, I hope it saves you from much frustration.
