I have been dealing with fixed and calculated shipping cost. However in the past I used the calculated shipping cost to make it easier for my customers, which worked great!

I did however, change that when the new shipping increase came about. I decided to added priority shipping with fixed shipping rates. It was fine until I realized that I would state the proper fixed shipping, but when I went to use the paypal print and ship via ebay, it would charged me more to send to the buyer. I would then refund my customers the shipping that paypal charged me, or I would just eat the cost and lose out on shipping out of pocket. Fixed shipping was costing me more out of pocket then I realized. I also remembered in the past when I shipped loose beads and/or supplies that I didn't offer priority shipping, which most people don't use. Fixed shipping was never right when using the paypal shipping via Ebay.

I just updated all my listings on my loose beads and/or supplies back to calculated shipping and removed the priority shipping in the auction for those items. If you need your loose beads and/or supplies faster just email me.

I had to weight each item accordingly for the calculated shipping for my buyers. I didn't have a problem in the past when I would go to paypal shipping via ebay. It was right on the money with what I inputed. The same information I put in for fixed messed a lot of things up for shipping my items out.
