This guide is to help you with that crooked picture of the item you want to sell. You should have at least an inkling on how to use Photoshop for this to make more sense to you. But even if you don't know anything about Photoshop, follow these steps accurately and you'll have that picture straight!
We've all been there, you have a beautiful painting, an old photograph, a postcard, even a book. You tried to steady your hands to get it perfectly centered through your camera's viewfinder. You did it! You got it perfectly centered! Or did you?
Darn it! You've opened your photo editing program to resize the picture only to find out that it's crooked. Terribly crooked at that. What happened?

Well, let's not get into how it happened, let's talk about how to fix it. How to make it perfect, background cropped out, and that item in the picture even.
First thing you need is Adobe Photoshop. Find it on Ebay! Open your picture in Photoshop and select the crop tool as shown in the image below. Then go to your image, hold down your left mouse button and drag the tool (hold the left mouse button down and pull) as close to the edges of your image.

Now you're ready to distort that image and get it straight! Select the image-shown below. Go to Select then choose All, or simply hold down the ctrl key on your keyboard and the a key.

Now you should have the running ants-blinking dashes-surrounding your image letting you know it's all selected. At the top, select Edit, then go down to Transform, then select Distort.

This will select your whole image and let you pull it any which way you want. The point of distort is to pull or drag the corners to fill in the spaces of background showing behind your image and straighten your image. After you have distorted your corners simply hit the Enter key on your keyboard and viola! The image should look like this:

I hope this guide has helped give you some hope about those crooked photos. Thank you so much for stopping by to read it!
