1 – Ugly tie contest. Have contestants decorate a tie. Display entries in a public area (church, school hallway, etc). Put out a penny jar – each penny (nickel, dime, quarter – you choose) equals one vote. Most votes wins – funds go to cause.
2- Movie night. Get someone to volunteer the use of their projector/large screen TV for the evening. Pick a genre (horror, comedy, romance) for the show(s). Charge admission plus charge for soft drinks and popcorn during the show.
3- Photo contest. Charge an entry fee for each photo submitted. Ask local professional photographers to judge the contest.
4- Have an online auction. Get donations from your neighbors – ask them to donate instead of the garage sale. Action the items off using missionfish.org and eBay to donate directly to your case.
5- Sell T-shirts for you case. The DoLife symbolcan be created for any charity event. Buying  and reselling T-shirts is an easy way to bring in cash for your favorite charity.
