Most of us write a guide due to our experience with an item we have bought here on Ebay.

My Experience.......

Watch those Batteries in Any USED toys you may be buying this Christmas or anytime for that matter.

This would have been a costly transaction for me, if paypal would not have been brought into this Matter by Me.

I have been buying the Fisher Price Loving Family Items on & off of Ebay for some time now.

Watch out for these Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouses that have all the bells & Whistles..Lights & Sounds!!

The Loving Family Townhouse is the one  I had experienced a Bad problem with. Bought it here on Ebay, Used.

When  my Dollhouse arrived, I was so excited. I took the top of the box off to pull the Dollhouse out of it's package only to see..Green, Yellow, Leaking Acid smeared all around the outside of the Battery Compartment.

I didn't realize it was the Battery compartment at the time until I seen the screws. I Opened the Lid  to find an corroded battery & the terminals missing!!

Plus it was all cracked around the windows and the corners of the house & Pieces Missing.

NOTE: The seller Denied this and said it was in RECENT Playing condition by her Daughter. (Very Big Lie)

After all was said and done, I had to File a Claim with Paypal.

I had taken Many pictures just in case.

It took a month, but Paypal finally resolved the Case with My Full Refund back. It did cost me $29.00 to send back..My Lost.

Since this has happened, I ASK questions about these Dollhouses...

• Is the Battery Compartment in Great working Condition?
• Does the House make the sounds & has Lights,  as it's suppose to do?
• Is the house in Great Condition? Windows, Doors, Etc.

I've had a few sellers saying.."Yes, It works fine"

One seller even came back and told me they would retest it for me and let me know the following day.

Well, Thank Goodness she did look at it more Closely because she sent an email back the next day and said....... "Guess what? I checked the Battery Compartment and the Batteries inside were Corroded, I will have to end this Auction"

(I thanked her for her Honesty & the auction was ended)

So See, You Must ASK those Important Questions when purchasing USED Electronics / Toys.

If I would not have asked, I would have had another Claim to File with Paypal..and no one likes having to go through that..It takes a long nerve wrecking time!!!

Just Be Careful out there while shopping and most of all, ASK those Questions..if they don't get back with you on an answer....MOVE on!!!
