Hello, This guide is to tell you of the rising interest in fish planter category. I have a big collection of fish planters and I've watched the price of these items for bid and they go for up to $25.00 For a planter set on eBay.com auction. I started listing the items in the collection January 12, 2008. I have used the same method over and over and have decided to stick with a decent beginning bid as in 3 or 4 dollars and a picture with a good description so that buyer's know everything about the collectible fish planter you are selling including dimensions and if not new, condition. Most fish planters are used and you your-self must decide weather to even list the item on eBay.com. because of the simple fact a well taken care of item is better than a broken one. Be sure to get the right lighting for seller and right positioning for buyer, these are very unique collectors items. These planters are also nice to put in a window sill or a deck patio atmosphere. They really look good and they have made a big comeback. I medium
If the Fish Planter has to many chips in the paint and if your handy with a paint brush you could create the fish Planter over with a new paint job. These are collectibles and are not considered complete in any shape or form if they are not in the original factory condition. The planters were known to made by fine porcelain makers like Enesco & Co. They were plentiful from the 1900's up until know. I doubt you will see many of these made in the United States of America from now on. A lot of them came from overseas in the first place but a few were made right here and represent sportsmanship up and down the eastern shore board and inland ports of the united states.
I ship my items individually and make sure they don't move around in the box at all. I myself have made a few unwise shipping decisions, like not calculating to weight the correct zip code. When selling this small and this breakable of an item it is inherent to wrap these with care. Always take good care. I ship with nothing but the best supplies from USPS and Priority Mail is all I use nationwide and world wide. Please understand it is best to have as much documentation as possible. When dealing with fine porcelain and other fine baked clays it is best to have shipping insurance or a money back guarantee on your item so ask about it if you don't see it on your invoice the seller might have left it out. Thank you for taking time out to look at the fish planter guide.
thanks

These items are rare now. Show them off on eBay.com. Don't get bit on the toe by a little fish.
