If you are looking for a computer recording interface, then you need to hear the Firestudio by Presonus. I have used Digidesign and Motu in the past. The preamps in the Firestudio are simply better. I mean, WAY better. The drums are fat sounding, the vocals are clean. The other thing I love about the Firestudio is the MSR remote which gives you talkback and speaker switching. The other cool thing is the expandability. There are 16 digital inputs (ADAT Lightpipe) on the back so you can add additional mic preamps and converters. I use the Digimax FS for live recording. What a great box. I use Cubase and am about to switch over to Logic.
