If you do not know by now,doing a search for anything that has to do with the fireing of a gun,is no longer allowed to be sold on EBAY,Slowly over time they got rid of firearms first,and have now moved on to anything that has to do with the fireing of a gun,There reason is because A mentally imbalanced young man bought a clip for a pistol he bought at a pawnshop,went down to V.A. Tech and proceeded to shoot everyone he could,This gentleman by law should not have been allowed to purchace a handgun having been confined to a mental instution at one time ,the current fdle backround check is supposed to exclude this type of person,Also if someone mentally unbalanced gets the idea into there head to go on a rampage and kill a bunch of citizens ,its not going to matter what they use,A truck,car,baseball bat,knife poison gas such as easily made chlorine gas,from common household cleaners,Stopping the acts of a mentally disturbed person hell bent on killing people is going to be very hard considering they usually do not announce it to the world first,All Ebay has done is pass this policy as a look good feel good public relations policy,In an email they stated to me that they want to conform to calif law and beyond,What they do not understand is everyone on here will go to Gunbroker.com or many of the other sites that deal exclusivly with guns and parts,this does nothing to prevent the buying and selling of gun related items ,except deny there longtime customers who have bussinesses ,without proper notice the ability to do bussiness,And there customers who have purchaced guns and gun parts the ability to purchace legal sold guns and parts,and ammo,they have taken our money for a very longtime now,enough to get there bussiness up and running and a number one bussiness,then they decide they do not need our bussiness anymore and send us all packing,without any notice,they send me enough junk mail ,Im sure they could have managed an email to all the members,Had they done that the uproar would have been so bad they would have had to with draw there new plan to ban gun parts,There president I believe it was made a nice little quiet cover there butt post on a site ,that no one saw ,and they knew no one would see it and then one day,people were out of bussiness ,Doors locked so to speak,with no notice,But what puzzles me is no gun parts of anykind,magizines ,antique parts etc,as they want to be responsible citizens in the bussiness community,but they still allow Porn to be sold,large swords and many other kinds of dangerous weapons ,much more dangerous than an old antique gunpart or gun magizine etc,Knives are still sold ,and I mean big knives that do not serve a hunting purpouse,bayonets are still being sold And much more dangerous items that a few old antique gun parts and magizines etc,you have to install the gun parts into a working gun or one you are restoreing to work to get it to fire,A sword thats 3 ft long if you had on  your mind something bad I shutter to think what could be done with that and I hope someone with a gun is around if it ever happened to stop it,cause I really dont think you are going to have much luck talking them into putting it down,by now you understand what i am getting at,please for your gun needs go to Gunbroker.com or the many other auction sites similar to ebay that do not restrict gun sales or there parts,And Ebay can just fade into the past as they continually ban themelves right on out of bussiness,Jim
