Many people like to made jewelry from ceramic bisque, so here is a short description of how I do mine. I have found  acrylic paints works great for me. I base coat/paint the entire piece with one color, then add other colors to make desired design. I love the results, and there are many colors to choose from. After paint dries it can be sprayed with gloss sealer or brushed with varnish to put a protective coat on each item. Your local craft store should have these supplies (or equivalent) in stock.
