I have been collecting Bloodhound items for many years.
Before I found eBay, I did it the old fashion way, Yard sales estate sale and travel.
Almost 2 years ago, I wanted something special for On My Christmas cards, I wanted Bloodhounds.. I really was wanting My own dogs photo in the cards, But it was to close to Christmas to  get them so I just went to a search engine and typed in Bloodhound cards.
A whole new world open up for me that Night, as eBay was introduced to me.
I found Bloodhound cards, Magnets, photos, figures, hard carved, marble, glass,
I was in my own world of bloodhounds from all over the world from that night on.
I had heard of this place they called eBay,but had never ventured into it, until that fateful night,
My beautiful bloodhound cards arrived to my door, just like Santa on Christmas eve.
I was hooked.
I have since  found bloodhound item from around the world to add to my now more than just large collection, Items I would have never found at  a mear yard sale.
eBay is the ultimate place for any collector, weather it be Bloodhounds, Baseball cards, Knives, you name it you can find in here.
As a any collector of any item knows, an item is only worth really what a person is willing to pay for it.
I never go by what guides in books say ,
If you want that one special Item and you find it ( and you will on eBay) and its what your heart desires. then its worth what you are willing to shell out to own it.
My guide is really more of a statement, regarding book prices of collectors items.
Book prices on collectibles really are meaningless unless you have a buyer for that item at that price,.
The enjoyment I have found  on this eBay auction site  it that  true value comes out  on collectibles.
I have enjoyed winning great pieces at really low prices as well as winning one of a kind hand crafted items that sell for larger amounts than the seller ever dreamed.
I love to see hand crafted work sell at grand prices, it makes the seller ( maker) feel his worth.
Its been just the most fun you can have finding this site.
