How to buy the best quality veil with the lowest total cost without touching the veil? Follow below easy steps, you will be a happy bride shopping on eBay!

1. Feedback: You can find out a lot of things from seller's feedbacks, such as: quality of the veil, speed of shipment, customer service. This should be the standard first step of buying anything on ebay.
2. Pictures: Don't overlook the pictures, you can see veil qualities right through the pictures

1. Ask for any many pictures as you can from all angles from the real item. Since you can't try it on as in store, this is the best way for you to see how the veil will look from all angles
2. See how the veil drapes, if the veil is made of a stiff material, it will show on the picture, look for signs such as: unusual crease, puff gathering at the comb, bad shape on the back view,etc
3. Pay extra attention at the comb gathering, bad craftsmanship will make the edge all curled up at the top or sticking out.
   
4. You see is what you get, if the veil doesn't look good on a mannequin while the photographer can do all he wants on a still object to make it look its best, it probably will be the same look or worse while you walk around during the ceremony.
   

3. Close Shots: Ask for a detail shot of the veil if not provided. The details shows you really how good the quality is. If it is a plain veil with an edge, you can tell if the edge is done properly or not. Bad craftsmanship can create an uneven ribbon surface when attached to the veil. For beaded veil, you can tell the beading quality by looking at the strings going through the beads, they need to be at the right tightness so that the beads are not too loose. Bad craftsmanship can cause loose strings and beads, when you walk around during ceremony, the loose string can catch things, dangerous!

4. About accents: Except hot fix rhinestones, all other beads should be hand sewn together or individually to the veil, never using glue! Ask before you buy if seller didn't indicate if glue is used or not. Glued accents have two issues: 1. It can easily come off the veil when you steam or iron. 2. If not done properly, you can see ugly glue spots easily on the veil. Not pretty.

5. Read the fine prints: Read all the terms before you place bid, make sure you understand the return policy, insurance/tax charges.

Now, if you select the seller, try to get as many things as you can from one seller, that way, you can save a bunch on the shipping/handling cost. Most of the sellers offer combine shipping service. Of course, compare the individual price/quality as well.
