Feedback is an important part of the ebay buying/selling proccess. I find most of my feedbacks are very acurate. Ocasionally you get some jerk that will never be happy no matter what you do. This type of persons feedback left for others will reflect his personality. I recently had a bidder with a feedback percentage of 90%. I decided to check his feedback comments, they weren't to bad but a few were in retaliation to feedbacks he had left. His negative feedbacks left for sellers were hardly warrented. One comment said the seller did not enclose an invoice with his item. Another said item took 9 days to arrive. Another comment was complaining about an item he did not even buy, he just did not like the fact the seller was selling an item he concidered imorral. After reading his comments, I decided this buyer is just a crabby person, rejected his bid and blocked him as a buyer.
I personally leave feedback shortly after the item is paid for. As a seller I feel that once the buyer has paid, he/she has done thier job. What else is there for a buyer to do other than pay?
I get tired of hearing sellers and buyers say "feedback will be left for you after you have left feedback for me" Seems childish to me. If everyone felt that way, there would be no feedback left for anyone.
