Well, with all the talk on the blogs about feedback and people leaving negatives for no real reason this seller has a system. When I sell an item and the item is paid, regardless of the payment method , I issue feedback to the buyer the day I box the item for shipment. I leave a positive feedback with the shipping day noted and a Thank you, this is a great way to communicate through feedback with your buyers with out having to send extra emails and waste time. This lets them know the item is on the way and that you appreciate the sale. In return when a buyer leaves feedback for the seller it lets you know they have received the item which the purchased, Its simple but its effective and it works.
Sadly, there are those people whom no matter what you do for them are just never happy and thus have to leave a negative reply to you, its just their way, you can try to get it removed or you can try to mutually agree to remove, but theres always the one!
However, take into consideration the reason this person left the negative Perhaps theres something to be learned by this, maybe you forgot to mention the item was not in mint condition or maybe there was a flaw from the manufacturer, or maybe the shipping was just a tad too high???
We are not perfect sellers, but as a seller you need to look over every item best as you can to try to avoid any problems once item reaches the buyer its too late to turn the clock back.Take the minute to check & double check. and check again.
About 85 % of my sales I do get return feedback on, but theres also the other group that just well may not know what feedback is new buyers that are not informed, you may send them an email and say" Hi, I was checking to see if you received your item, if so please take the time to return the feedback for me" Feedback is very important for ratings as a seller. most good buyers will then proceed to leave that feedback you deserve. Not all buyers leave negatives.
Sellers should give people a chance to get it done not every one has time to do these things the same day they get the item.. Develop a system for feedback and stick to it, you will see more feedback on your id as time goes on. The fault of a negative feedback may not always be the buyers, do the homework first.
Ebay would be a much nicer place with out all the negatives, but use the bad ones to your advantage and learn from them. if you are going to take the time to read these please vote as well. Thanks again.
