Although I have only been on eBay for a short time I have realized how important feedback really is to both sellers and buyers. I am not a seller yet, but I intend to start shortly. From what I can tell there are several different things about feedback I have learned first being if you are looking to buy items or even sell there are tons of sellers/buyers not interested in being your first few feedback's I have noticed in lots of auctions this key saying "If you have a low or 0 feedback score please contact me first." Although, I find that a hassle especially if the auction is close to ending I do understand that people are just trying to get the non-paying out of the way. Another thing I have discovered is that when you do buy from a seller most do not leave feedback until the buyer has if even then which I understand that the sellers are wanting the feedback and are afraid if the leave feedback then the buyer will not but I have to say if a seller has not left me feedback by the time I receive the item I usually do not leave them feedback I know that might cost me some feedback points but I feel that if I hold up my end of the bargain and pay then I should be rewarded with the proper feedback and then I will return the favor. I myself always check the sellers feedback before bidding or buying because I feel that it shows everything that I need to know about the seller and how he/she does business. So here is my advise to sellers I fell you should leave you customers feedback when they have held up there end of the bargain and to buyers please always check the sellers feedback just because they have I high feedback number does not mean they do not have a ton of negative feedback's it does not take much time to look and it could save you time and aggravation in the end.
