eBay accomodates buyers (and sellers) by providing you the ability to leave "follow-up" feedback to feedback left for another user. These are those second line comments that you may have seen in the feedback forum area for an ebay user.
Say, for instance, if you are in the habit of leaving positive feedback for a prompt paying buyer, and a particular buyer happens to not understand what he or she is buying, but pays anyway. If the buyer feels 'cheated' because he or she 1) didn't understand the listing, 2) Rushed into paying for the item 3) Fails to ask any significant questions before paying ,,, You should leave a follow-up feedback to the positive feedback you had already left, and also add the bidder to your blocked bidder's list. Sometimes I inform the buyer that he/she has been blocked from bidding on my merchandise in this follow-up message. If this issue gets resolved and you want to unblock the bidder, let everyone know that too.
You can leave follow-up feedback here:

Now the same goes for the buyer. If the buyer, eager to receive his or her package, immediately leaves positive feedback, only to find out the the item purchased had a signifcant flaw, but already left positive feedback, they buyer should follow-up on his/her feedback with a statement such as "Hidden damage found, informed seller, awaiting response."
Most sellers with integrity will honor the refund or replacement request, or some compromise. The seller should then follow-up on the follow-up feedback stating "issue resolved" And the buyer, should he /she come to an agreement with the seller, should aknowledge the sellers follow-up,,,,,,,,,, feedback.
If the community adopts these suggestions, sellers would know who to ask - Are you sure you want that?, before spending money for shipping, only to thave the buyer decide he/she doesn't want to pay return shipping costs, in returning the item to the seller. Buyers likewise, could see which sellers actually work with their customers to straighten out any issue that might arise. Since you and I aren't perfect, issues WILL occur.
Thank you.
