Well it has finally happened.  Ebay caught on to all of the sellers that were actually making a profit having an Ebay store!  They fixed that with a rate hike...or did they?  You must ask yourself is an Ebay store worth it to me?  You must consider that you have to pay the monthly fee, higher prices to list the items, higher FVF's, so at times it costs you more to sell an item out of your Ebay store.

BUT

If you have a large amount of inventory and need to have the listings out there for all seasons, then an Ebay store is the way to go.  You can keep large amounts of inventory available for purchase, the fees are still very low and with the new Ebay Express the exposure is higher.  You have a decent chance of selling your item...what chance do you have if it is sitting in a box waiting for next season?

So...in closing, if you just sell a few things at a time and strictly what is in season, then a store would not provide a savings for you.  If you need a place to display a large amount of inventory, and move it at any time, then an Ebay store is till the best buy for your buck!  Take it from someone who has tried all of the other "auction" sites....Ebay is the only way to go, the rest are very much hit and miss small potatoes!
