I want all of you honest horse lovers to please be aware of the scams going on with the buying of horse trailers.  IF you will see ads for Featherlites, Sundowners, etc at the rock bottom price of $2900.00. THESE ARE MOST LIKELY SCAMS!  The other details you will see are specific instructions in regards to contacting the seller, getting bid approval, and last but not lease if you want to get more information or see additional photos of the item, you click onto a link and it will take you to a non-ebay email address. Another thing to look for is when reading the ad....it looks like it was put together by a child and it almost reads the same.  The grammer and word usage is ridiculous and the ad will be done in such a way to attract your attention.

If you still don't smell it out and you asked for additional info, you will be emailed in regards to your request within hours if not minutes.  You will get some story about the seller being out of the country and will be using Square Trade to handle (broker) the deal.   (SQUARE TRADE does NOT BROKER DEALS!)  The email will also start the pressure tactics of I have 2 other buyers lined up...but waiting to see who can arrange payment via WESTERN UNION first.  And...of course, if you can get the $2900.00 payment arranged first....you will get the item. It will be shipped to you at no charge from a warehouse somewhere in the US.

Now....if this is sounding too familiar to you....get out of the deal!  Walk away!  Do not reply!  If you have already sent your money call Western Union to see if it has been picked up.  If not...they will stop the transaction.  If it has been picked up...I am sorry to say you have lost $2900.00 and you will not receive the item.

How they are able to do this is by stealing ebay ID's and using them as their own identity to list the item.  If you check the ebay member's other items....they will be something else all together such as flea market type items or dishes.  If you look at the comments for the seller and read through them....you will not see any horse trailers sold previously.  These SCAMMERS are pretty clever because they don't want you to email the seller (as mentioned above). That will tip the seller off that something is going on.  If the seller looks at their for sale items....they don't see the horse trailer or the item being scammed listed.....they just see their items they put up.  The SCAMMERS have managed to infilitrate themselves into ebay and respresent themselves as upstanding sellers...same thing with Square Trade.  They have stolen Square Trade identities and are doing the same thing to make you think the deal is above board.

I almost got caught up in this but was able to get out before losing my money.  Please.....be aware for your own sake!
