Do you like brain puzzles? Logic problems? Teasers? Mind bogglers? So do I --- here are a few of my favorite ones that you can use at your next party, get-together or just to torture someone during coffee break or during intermission when you're watching the game. (In case you want to play as well, I've left the answers to the very end.)

In no particular order (although I saved my favorite for last):

1. A man builds a house. All four walls have a southern exposure. A bear walks by. What color is the bear?

2. In my hand I am holding two coins but one of them is NOT a nickel. What are the two coins?

3. If a rooster lays an egg on the exact edge of a roof pointing north with an exact 43 degree angle, what side of the roof will the egg roll down - east or west?

4. A father and son are in a car accident. The father is killed and the boy is rushed to the hospital. The doctor walks in, sees the boy and says, "I can't operate on this boy. He's my son." Explain.

5. A doctor gives you 6 pills. He tells you to take one immediately and another one every hour until the pills are finished. How long do the pills actually last?

6. There are four words in the English language that have no true rhyme words. All are common words and three of the four are directly related. Can you name all four words?

7. Can you name the proper "group" names for the following animals? (i.e. pride of lions) apes, chicks, cockroaches, flamingoes, blue jays, mosquitoes, porcupines, rhinoceroses, sharks, spiders, tigers, wolves.

8. What is the one question you can never say yes to and mean it?

9. (This is my favorite.) Rich people don't have me but poor people do. I am bigger than the universe and if you swallow me, you die. What am I?
