A very common problem with Farberware Open Heath Rotisserie Motors, motors squealing! Remember, these are a vintage item, built vintage style, so this will happen. In some cases these can be repaired. Unplug the unit. Remove the screws to open the casing. Be very careful, the interior parts are so delicate. Use a grease gun to lubricate the turning wheels. Replace the back and test the unit. This should take care of the squeal. In other cases, the motor just simply will not turn on. Bad news, time to replace it. Good news, you do not have to throw away your rotisserie. Parts can be found on eBay.
