Hi...  Ebay Bidders...  Please,  oh,  please do a little research before you bid on your  "Dream of a Life-Time"...  "Antique Doll/Baby Buggy/Carriage"  on Ebay.

So many of these so called   "Fine",   "Antique",   "right out of G-Ma's Attic" (sic),   Buggies are    **Brand New,   Wholesale,   "Child Slave Made",  Taiwan,   Imports **    {like Item #230247274009}...

     {see also...uhoh!130220326627,   uhoh!140230594409,  370048910781 (kudos! clearly marked as a Repop.!),  uhoh!230250633525,  130221405613 (kudos! to seller!),  250245999274 (kudos! to seller!),   220232733837 (kudos!...), 230251732860 (kudos!...), more  uhoh's!  280239885677,   290228422846,  220232433189, 320250693281, 300224267210.

Now...  Maybe the  Seller/s   were/are   really fooled...    But that is no reason for us   Bidders/Buyers   to be fooled!

Do not be so quick to bid...   Look at a  Whole  Bunch  of  Buggies/Carriages/ Prams/ Strollers...  see:  {antique,  wicker,  doll,  baby,  old,  vintage,  carriage, pram,  buggy,  stroller}...   {"antiques" & "dolls-bears"}.   Compare the Details in the Pictures!

Use your head...  When pictures are   "Basically"   the same for an   "Antique"  {and for a   (properly listed)   reproduction}...   Then,   no matter what you think (or what the seller says),   the buggies are probably from the same...  Over-Seas...   Source!

1). Notice the  wheel hubs  on a reproduction {#230247274009}  -or- {120261066633 (kudos!)}...   Antique buggy wheels were simply not made this way!  {looks a lot like  "tinker toy" construction}.

2). Look at the  "wicker...  and its color"   {all reproductions,  of this type, will look almost exactly the same  (just slightly different styles and sizes)}.

3). Look at the black fabric  "hood/bonnet",  every one has the Fake Dust/Dirt  from the factory,   exactly the same!

4). Look at the  "Curl"  where the handle is attached...

The only actual   "Old Buggies"   I know of that have this  "Curl"  are      Fresh,  European, Imports...

While nearly Every One of the   "new"   "antique"   "wholesale"  prams have this distinct  "Curl".

But,   the American Carriages,   do not...   {I guess,   if you want a European Import,   they are o.k.!?!}.    But  if you are going to spend Good Money... And want an   "Investment"  for  Your Hard Earned Cash...  Why not choose to buy a  Quality Antique American Piece?

In my opinion...   Doing a little   "ebay research"   Before You Bid;   is part of  the  "fun of ebay fun".    Do not be so easily dupped!    Take just a little time...  The pictures  "will tell the story";   if you look at the pictures carefully.

If the seller won't answer questions...   Or if the seller is very vague...   Or the pictures are not clear and sharp...   Or if shipping  {on a doll size buggy is over $25.00 - 50.00 or so}...  Maybe you should not bid.    But Remember:  {Some Antique Buggies Are Costly to Ship!}...   {Due to Greedy, USPS/UPS Increases, some Can No Longer be Economically Shipped at all... (thus pick-up only)}.   If shipping,  in your opinion,   is too high...  Then,  Respectfully,   ask about the Possibility of a discount  -or-  Just Don't Bid...   But...   {give  "Good Sellers"  a break...  buggies can be very tough to pad,  package  and ship properly}.   Believe me there are  buggy/carriage/ stoller/pram  choices a-plenty on ebay!  Missing out on your   "Dream Buggy",  while you take the time to do some research,   may just be the "Happiest Mistake/Accident",   you have during your ebay buying experience.

Just imagine the distress that the buyer of  #230247274009  will go through when  he/she  visits a  Gift/Souvenir  Shop some where this summer and sees  "20 Exact Copies"  of  his/her   "Antique-Dream Buggy"  for sale for $14.95 - $37.95 ea.!?!   {which is  "common retail"  at  Cedar Point,   6 Flags,   Sea World,   Frankenmuth,   Knotts Berry Farm,   Disney Land/World,   Michaels,  Hobby Lobby,   Etc....  (even less $$ at ANY  Florist,  Wholesale  Supply, Store in the Land!?!)}.

Why  buy/bid-on  one of these  Brand New,   Import,   "Child Slave Labour", Buggies...  When there are always numerous,  Actual Antique Pieces,  available?

Why,  oh why , buy a Repop.;   when the  "Real Mc Coy" is to be found?

{Note... #'s 260237506210,  110250772429,  300220434427, 270229675353, 270227066497, 320249634081,  130221033837,  130221175055,  170218574990,  160239091476,  110251646094,  260239072203, 170218205777... Etc., Etc.}.

Good Luck... Have Fun... Enjoy Ebay... Find A "Good-One"... Patty.
