I recently noticed the review link on Ebay's flash drive page warning
about cheap fake flash drives for sale. The article Titled: "BEWARE
of FAKE 1GB/2GB/4GB/8GB USB Flash Drives on eBay" This article from
memory-r-us insists that 95% of flash drives on Ebay are fake! It goes
on and suggest to not concider the positive feed back ratings from the
company since most people give feed back in haste, before they can
properly check out the flash drive. Well This article then suggests
that you get a program from them to test the drive. Email me for the
program. Once this was done I recieved a reply stating that there was
such a demand for the program that they would now have to charge for
the download due to copywright issues. Well the wright up changed to
include a (there is a $2 fee) in the
article shortly after that! Who do you think caused the BIG DEMAND for
the program? I being the skeptic that I am couldn't believe that all
those people that purchased flash drives are all to ignorant to give an
accurate report. So I went right out and bought two(2) different
one gig (1 GIG) flash drives from two different suppliers. I paid
$24.49 with shippage to Hawaii for each of them. That is about as cheap
as you can get for a one gig flash drive that I've seen! Any way since I wasn't going to pay $2.00 for a
program that they were promising to give away previously I devised a
way to test the drives on my own. I simply, and you can too! Created a
file on my computer with approximately 980mb; Which is what my flash
drives has left after formatting. I used mp3 files (music), it takes up
a lot of space and is easy to check to see if it stores or not. Just
try to listen to it and if it won't play than it isn't there! Well The
whole point is that if the odds are 95% against me getting a real flash
drive, an actual real one GIG for a mere $24.49 delivered and not be
counterfit is so much against the odds than how did I end up with
Two(2) perfictly good flash drives? One is even waterproof!!! I'll tell
you how! Flash drives are droppinng in price rapidly and there are some
great deals out there. They are right on Ebay for the taking, so don't gets scared into buying a $2.00 program from a con on Ebay Don't get suckered
into buying a program you really don't need! ALOHA
