I am NOT saying all Stevie Ray Vaughan autographs on eBay are fake, but 90% are. If you have more than one of these characteristics in your auction, BE CAREFUL and QUESTION THE SELLERS! 1) PRIVATE BIDDING: A good way to keep you unaware of whose bidding and an easy way to prevent people from warning you that you are bidding on a fake! 2) PRIVATE FEEDBACK: Another of hiding their bad feedback, and complaints. 3) CERTIFICATES OF AUTHENTICITY: Only a very few individuals can offer real ones. Basically it is a worthless piece of paper. Anyone these day can print these from home. Start with the assumption it's a forgery, and don't buy the first one you see on eBay. A major tell that the signature may be bad is "Soul to Soul" inscription, a dealer who seems to have an endless supply of SRV autographs, and cheap prices.
Some Fake Stevie Ray Vaughan autographs I have seen on eBay.
In most cases the the R and Y in "Ray" come together to form an "x" I would NEVER buy a SRV autograph when this is the case. 99% of the true SRV signatures that I have seen the Y in Ray comes strait down and does not lean to the left.
Good luck and I hope you find the Real Deal.
