There are fake sciphones on market, even if someone try to deny it...
How to identify fakes:
Be sure that your dealer meets these 4 basic features before you make an order. You can also visit the official Sciphone forum to see Sciphone’s trusted dealer list.
-Batteries: If the battery label says Aphone or Chinese characters or nothing at all – it is a fake. Authentic Sciphones have the Sciphone logo on the label.
-Internal Label: Visible when you remove the battery, confirm the presence of 3 small stickers. Genuine products will have a golden color holographic sticker that says “SCI”
-Start-up Screen: Brand new genuine Sciphones phones will have the default Sciphone logo at start up. If there is anything different such as a globe or nothing at all there is a strong possibility that the phone is fake or used/refurbished.
-Version: Probably the best test is by dialing *#8375#. This will allow you to see the Sciphone version. Authentic Sciphones will start with SCI- or LS-
Quatation from another fake sciphone guide: "The old version of the Scphone i68+ had the Sciphone logo when it was turned on and on the batteries. They were told they had to quit making them like this for some legal reasons. So now they do not say anything when turned on and have the Aphone name on the batteries." This is not true. There should still be logo in the back , logo when turned on. You can find various internet stores selling new Sciphones with logo.
