All the Rayban sunglasses being offered for auction from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia are FAKE. The REAL Rayban sunglasses sold in proper shops in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia are the same price as in the west, there is no way that they are so cheap as you see them on eBay, the fakes are sold in second hand shops and street markets everywhere in Asia. The frames and lenses are rubbish but look good (for a while anyway). Don't be fooled by the positive feedback that these sellers receive, most people who buy the fake Raybans from them, either don't know that they are fake or they are too shy to admit that they have been cheated. How do I know? I live in Thailand and I used to work for Rayban sunglasses. The sellers from Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia SELL ONLY FAKE RAYBANS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. ALSO, CHINA IS FAMOUS THROUGHOUT ASIA FOR PRODUCING FAKE THINGS, WATCHES,BOOKS,CDS,SUNGLASSES,JADE,EVERYTHING.

BEWARE, there are now many sellers registered in the UK, with addresses in the UK, that are selling fake raybans on eBay. All these fakes still come from South East Asia and China.

  BE AWARE THAT EVERY SELLER IN CHINA, MALAYSIA, INDONESIA, PHILLIPINES, VIETNAM, AND THAILAND ARE SELLING ONLY FAKE SUNGLASSES.

Update as of 23rd of August, 2007: The Thai police arrested a man today for making fake Rayban sunglasses in his home, he was selling them wholesale for about a U$1 a pair, the merchants buying them were selling them retail, at just under U$3 a pair to the general public. These sunglasses are so inferior that they could prove dangerous if the lens shatters while you are wearing them. But, you can see that these sellers of fake Raybans on eBay make a handsome profit out of the gullible and those who just won't listen.
