EBAY is loaded with crooks selling fake, cheap, North Face products that could put your life at risk.  Fake XCR, fake Denali, coats in 3X, 4X and larger are more than likely fakes.  North Face only makes a few coats in sizes bigger than 2X.  Check the North Face website.  If a seller is selling 1 fake product then it is safe to assume all of their products are fake. If the seller has a single bad feedback that says 'fake' then ASSUME all of their products are FAKE.  If the seller has a large inventory of similar North Face items then they are probably fake!  Read the rest of the guide and give it a positive vote.  It helps others find the guide and avoid getting ripped off from crooks.

I'm just like anyone else.  I love a bargain and I don't want to get ripped off.

The problem is that is someone sells someone a fake Ralph Lauren piece the worst that can happen is you might be embarrassed.  But when someone sells a fake North Face product, someone's life may be dependent upon it.  There's just no room for error when it comes to these things.

There are several sellers selling fake North Face products on EBAY. Chances are the more you pay, the more you think you're getting a discount the GREATER the chance is that you're getting ripped off and putting your life at risk if you're a serious outdoors person.

Here's what to do BEFORE you bid on a North Face item on EBAY.

1. Take a good look at the authentic product at a local store, notice the details of the item.  Fabric, outer and inner seams, tags, zippers, etc.

2. Compare those with the item you intend to bid on.

3. Request clear high resolutions photos of any of the details you're suspect on.  If the seller fails to respond consider this an affirmative response that they are selling fakes.

4. Do not let your greed at anytime suspend your skepticism.

5. If the seller has a history of selling similar items and does not have a brick and mortar storefront, they are most likely FAKES.

6. Learn more about North Face fakes by joining the North Face Guru Forums. Do a Google search for these three words in this order:

north face guru

It should be your first result.

There are many photo comparisons of fake and real North Face items there. You can also see if the seller is on the 'blacklist' which is a list of fake North Face sellers on EBAY.

Again, please vote "Yes" for this guide to help others.  Thanks!
